At The Hop is owned and operated by Ella and Jim Miller and Located in Waco, Texas.
At The Hop DJ Music Services was created in the middle 1990s when I was engineer at a local oldies FM station and the idea to play music and be an MC for events such as parties, weddings, car shows, and school events was born. Today my wife and I still enjoy providing entertainment for you and your guests.
We have always tried to play the music that everyone loves to hear and dance to. Many times we receive comments after an event that we played something that caused a fond memory of a place or time in someone’s life. We always try to play every song the client requests but we also try to make sure we play songs your guests will enjoy and not be offended by. By doing this we maximize the enjoyment of all present at an event. We also try to work within your budget so can get the most out of every entertainment dollar spent. We try to be very competitive in our pricing. Large or small events can be accommodated. We offer 3 different sized systems. From small systems with 4 speakers to our largest with 8 speakers. We are also able to play wedding ceremonies and receptions even if located at different areas at the venue. Wireless microphones are available when needed.
We make sure all can hear without being excessively loud when not desired. You choose the volume at which we play. We also help organize the time line of the event so that everything flows smoothly and keep your guests entertained and informed of “what happens next.” We do everything possible to make your event very special.
